Can my unit be used indoors?

Yes, the Bike Nook Turbo™ is safe for both indoor use as well as covered sheds, garages and balconies and should not rust or leave marks.

Does the unit work with children's bikes as well?

Yes. The Bike Nook™ Turbo is designed to work with all types of bikes and sizes including mountain bikes, road bikes, racers, kids' bikes, beach bikes and more. It can fit bikes with 250 mm (10") wheel diameter or bigger. Kids' bikes with wheel size 250 mm (10") to 410 mm (16") need to be secured on the V-Track by the handlebars holder. For detailed instructions on how different size bikes are to be secured onto the Bike Nook™ Turbo unit, please refer to the Assembly Instructions Manual.

Can the unit store an E-Bike?

E-Bikes are fitted with a battery. Depending on where the battery is positioned on the E-Bike, the weight of the battery can cause instability when attempting to store the E-Bike on the Bike Nook™. For this reason, the Bike Nook™ is not suitable for storing E-Bikes.

What size of tyre does the unit hold?

The width of V-Track is 2.5" (63.5 mm) and should be capable of holding tyres with various widths, from the smallest road tyre to a large beach or fat-boy tyre.

Will the Bike Nook™ Turbo work if my bike has a parcel back rack and/or mudguards (fenders)?

For the bike to be stored in a stable position, one needs 3 points for gripping the bike. If your bike has a parcel back rack or a mudguard (fender) on it, this may be difficult to accomplish.

For bikes such as these we have developed the Bike Nook™ Pro attachment. This attachment is specifically designed for bikes with parcel back racks and mudguards (fenders), installs easily in seconds, and can be purchased during checkout or if you already own a Bike Nook™, buy the Bike Nook™ Pro.

What is the maximum weight that the unit can support?

Because of the design of the Bike Nook™ Turbo the weight of the bike is not a concern. Many varieties of bicycles can be used safely with the Bike Nook™ Turbo with no concern.

What's the unit made of?
